FIELD: water supply systems; preparation of potable water and water for technological services. SUBSTANCE: method is effected in degasifier due to contact of water with atmospheric air; vapor (moist air with gases evolved from water) is evacuated from degasifier into atmosphere by means of fan. Air is fed to degasifier under action of rarefaction through air intake ports located under nozzle. Degree of rarefaction in degasifier is regulated through change of area of air intake ports.
