HANGER CLOSURE Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: shipbuilding; ships carrying helicopters on their board. SUBSTANCE: hanger closure includes horizontal sections with rollers at the ends, guides for rollers and drive mechanism. Closure is provided with coatings over perimeter of aperture and self-aligning shaft located above sprockets and connected with these sprockets by means of gear trains. Each horizontal section of closure is connected with adjacent sections by means of several hinges. Central hinges are provided with oval openings. Ovals are made in horizontal planes. Lower section of closure is provided with carriers articulated with this section and additional curvilinear guide for carriers. Horizontal sections form closure in form of shutters. EFFECT: enhanced rigidly of structure; reduced height of hanger. 7 dwg
