FIELD: latching equipment. SUBSTANCE: latching device has blocking lock with keyhole accessible from outside through blocked door. Blocking lock has outside arm of permanent key with protective casing. Latching device is further provided with movable members interconnected through pins or in accordance with the principle of collapsible antenna. Movable members may be joined so that closed through longitudinal recess formed on one member is engaged with pin on other movable member. These members are automatically reset to initial position. One of movable members is provided with movable lockable part which does not extend beyond door, when it is in initial inoperative position, and is moved to be latched in blocking lock, when door is closed, or, in case of movable member with recess, this member itself is latched and in operating position it does not extend beyond door end, and it is moved to be latched in blocking lock when door is closed. Latching device is further provided with locking mechanism with keyhole outside the door. Locking mechanism is joined to part which retains movable member in immovable position, with door being retained in closed position. Blocking lock is mounted for movement on fixed member and in inoperative state it does not extend into door box opening. In the process of closing the door, blocking lock extends into door box opening. Latching device is convenient in usage since its lockable member does not extend beyond door end or beyond inner contour of door box, when it is in inoperative state, with door partly opened.
