SUBSTANCE: tool unit includes trimming punch with axial opening and block mounted in such a way that its one end is in contact with end of punch. Block has opening coaxial relative to punch opening and recess arranged on end of block remote relative to punch. Knocking out member is in the form of rod with sleeve pressed onto; it is arranged in openings of punch and block. Sleeve engages with annular damper being in the form of stepped ring. Portion of damper ring having large diameter is placed in recess of block. Between small- diameter surface of stepped ring and surface of opening in housing of cold heading automatic machine there is free cavity turned to sleeve of knocking out member. Said sleeve engages with end of damper at side of its small diameter portion. EFFECT: simplified design of tool unit, lowered labor consumption for making it. 1 dwg
