FIELD: tire industry. SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method, stud bodies are formed from composite material in sockets of mould. Wear-resistant insert is installed in bodies in cavity of mould socket. Socket communicates with vacuum chamber to provide holding and axial alignment of insert. Then composite material is pressure-fed into mould sockets and stud bodies are formed. Device has split mould. At least one of mould members has sockets of shape corresponding to shape of antiskid stud body. Seating cavity is made in zone of bottoms of mould sockets. Space of cavity communicates through hole with vacuum chamber. Invention provides reliable fastening of insert in body without destruction of structure of stud body material. EFFECT: improved operation reliability of antiskid studs. 3 cl, 5 dwg
