FIELD: tire industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed device for making tape tread consists of die with tread pattern and device for pressing raw tread to die to form grousers on tread running surface at curing. Device for pressing raw tape tread to die is made in form of punch with smooth surface from side of contact with tape tread. Needle elements are mounted on smooth surface of punch. Axis of each needle element is square to said surface of punch. Each needle element is arranged opposite to corresponding socket for grouser in die. Needle element is provided with boss in its base in zone of connection with punch. Said boss follows shape of flange of antiskid stud. Height of each needle element is equal to thickness of tread. EFFECT: improved reliability of stud holding in tire, increased service life with preservation of road holding capacity of tire during its service life. 3 dwg
