FIELD: aerospace engineering, in particular, production of metallized laminated products of composite materials, applicable in development of products in radio industry, aerospace engineering. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in assembly of a stack by placement of layers of reinforcing material impregnated with thermosetting binder, deposition of a metal coating and molding. Deposition of a metal coating is accomplished by spraying in air atmosphere by the electric are method on the layers of the reinforcing material impregnated by thermosetting binder with subsequent hardening of the binder. The product manufactured by this method features a low density of the coating, which results in a reduction of weight. Wear resistance and adhesion strength of the coating are considerably enhanced due to impregnation of sprayed metal in microunevennesses of the surface layer of reinforcing material. The method is efficient since the deposition of metal is conducted by a high-productivity method in the open air.
