FIELD: oil and gas production industries. SUBSTANCE: process deals with liquidation of interstring gas flows-over in production wells. Process of liquidation of interstring gas manifestations in well includes pumping of viscous solution into hole clearance. Sealing compound containing following components, per cent by mass: sodium chloride 20.0-25.0; finely dispersed microspheres based on sodium silicate glass 5.0-7.0, surface-active substance 0.04-0.07; ferrochromelignosulfonate 1.0-2.0, sulfacel 0.5-1.0, modified starch 2.0-4.0, aqueous phase being the balance in used in the capacity of viscous solution. Last portion of compound is pumped with pressure exceeding that in well by 5.0 MPa as minimum. EFFECT: raised efficiency of sealing of threaded connections of lifting pipes, provision for reliable liquidation of interstring gas manifestations in well, reduced usage of materials thanks to limited leaks through threaded connections and decreased cost of compound for above-packer operations. 2 tbl
