FIELD: compositions of grouting and displacement fluids; applicable in oil and gas producing industry for sealing of well annular spaces. SUBSTANCE: neutral densifying fluid for wells contains service water, used compressor oil MS-20 as hydrocarbon phase, calcium chloride as freezing point depressant, sulfanol as emulsifier bentonite clay as stabilizer and also methyl alcohol and sodium hydroxide showing stabilizing bactericide properties and properties of corrosion inhibitor with the following amounts of ingredients, wt. %: used compressor oil MS-20 23.00-35.00; sodium hydroxide 1.00-3.00; calcium chloride 3.00-5.00: methyl alcohol 6.00-10.00; bentonite clay 14.00-18.00; sulfanol 0.50-1.30; the balance, service water. EFFECT: higher sealing properties of neutral thickening fluid for wells and increased its inhibiting properties alongside with suppression of sulfate- reducing bacteria growth. 3 tbl
