FIELD: power engineering; fluid medium energy-to-electric energy conversion. SUBSTANCE: proposed engine has framework with passage ports and shafts installed in framework for rotation. One of shafts is mechanically coupled with electric generator. Flexible member encloses the shafts being furnished with blades secured for turning. Guides with slots are made on inner longitudinal walls of framework. Blades are provided with pins and rollers located in slots. Framework is arranged across-fluid medium flow. Blades are secured by middle part on flexible member and are installed for overlapping blade spaces on one leg by blades of other leg and for changing their position relative to flexible member to opposite position of curvilinear section of flexible member travel by means of stop engaging with end face edge of blades. This prevents idle run of blades and useless flowing of medium in blade spaces. EFFECT: increased efficiency of engine. 6 cl, 3 dwg
