FIELD: hydropower.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric installations in hydropower engineering. Hydraulic power unit comprises a frame arranged with its longitudinal side across the current flow of the medium, flexible element 2, sprockets 1, arranged on axes 5 along the middle of the width of the frame, rotating and enveloped by element 2, electric generator 6 kinematically connected with axis 5 of one of sprockets 1, blades 3 fixed on element 2 at an angle to current medium, and flexible rod 7 passed through holes in blades 3 near their cutout. Element 2 forms inlet and outlet branches of blades 3. Blades 3 are arranged on element 2 on axles 4. Area of blades 3 of inlet branch below axis 4 is larger than area of blades 3 above axis 4. Ends of blades 4 are installed with support on planks 9 and 10. Blades 3 have cutout with width larger than width of sprockets 1 from one end and cutout length smaller than radius of sprockets 1. On both sides of blades 3 on rod 7 there are clamps 8 for blades 3.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at simplifying the design and improving operating reliability.
