FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves determining cool sensitivity threshold in auricular reflexogenic zones. The cool sensitivity threshold in reflexogenic zone determines functional state of corresponding system. Mean value of thresholds in symmetric reflexogenic zones of the right and left ear conch is interpreted to make conclusions concerning the type of human vegetative nervous system. Vegetative reactivity is determined from difference of cool sensitivity threshold in symmetric auricular reflexogenic zones of the right and left ear conch. The magnitudes of thresholds in reflexogenic zones of the right and left ear conch are used for making conclusions about vegetative maintenance of human activities with organs and systems correlated with the corresponding reflexogenic zones.
