FIELD: building materials industry. SUBSTANCE: method comprises dry stirring of reinforcing filler such as high-needle wallastonite containing at least 90% of main mineral at 3:1 to 1:1 ratio with caustic magnesite finely divided to grain size with residue containing not higher than 75 % of magnesium oxide followed by addition the resulting dry mixture of solution of magnesium chloride salt to attain moisture content of 10-12 %, amount of dry salt in solution being 3-5 % of weight of dry mixture of wallastonite or magnesite, molding of products of desired shape by plastic molding method and hardening under normal atmospheric conditions for at least 48 hours. In this case, reinforcing filler is wallastonite containing at least 50% of elementary needles at needle length to diameter ratio of 5-20 and containing at least 50% of elementary needles at needle length to diameter ratio of 5-20 and containing at least 15% of elementary needles at needle length to diameter of 10-20.
