COMPOSITION FOR PERFORMANCE OF REPAIR AND ISOLATING OPERATIONS IN WELL Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: oil and gas producing industry, particularly, multipurpose process liquids used in performance of isolation of casing string-borehole annulus, water shutoff in well conservation and killing, in well remedial work and major repairs. SUBSTANCE: composition is used in repair operations in capacity of above-packer and displacement fluids, for blocking of highly permeable sections of producing formation in thickness under conditions of high content of acid gases and high temperatures in operation of oil and gas wells. Composition contains hydrocarbon, aqueous and solid phases and stabilizing emulsifier. The latter is used in the form of mixture of esters with calcium salts of alkalaryl sulfonic acids in ratio of 1:30, additionally, absorber of acid gases and corrosion inhibitor. Composition contains the following ratio of components, wt.%: hydrocarbon phase, 10.0-30.0; stabilizing emulsifier, 20.0-30.0; absorber of acid gases, 0.5-5.0; corrosion inhibitor, 0.5-3.0; aqueous phase, the balance. Hydrocarbon phase contains oil, products or wastes of oil refining. Solid phase includes finely divided particles of calcium carbonate or calcium hydroxide sizing lower 1.0 mcm. Absorber of acid gases consists of potassium permanganate, or iron oxides or salts. Corrosion inhibitor is used in the form of organic corrosion inhibitor of film type.
