FIELD: methods of burning waste wood; wood-working industry; burning wood dust containing toxic binding agents and abrasive dust formed during polishing wood particle boards. SUBSTANCE: method consists in burning wood dust in fluidized-bed furnace; prior to feeding wood dust to furnace, dust is heated in thermal decomposition chamber in absence of air due to recirculation of dispersed material from furnace chamber for separation of volatile matter of toxic gases which are sucked from thermal decomposition chamber and are burnt in gas duct at furnace chamber outlet in flue gas after preliminary cleaning from fly ash and abrasive dust. EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability of furnace. 1 dwg
