FIELD: independent orientation equipment. SUBSTANCE: invention can be employed for orientation of stationary objects with reference to the Earth. Unit is supplemented with source of coherent radiation, optical splitter and orientation channel. Each orientation channel incorporates controllable optical phase modulator, uncontrolled optical phase modulator, optical multiplexer, differentiator, two comparators, NOT-OR gate and key. Output of source of coherent radiation is connected to input of optical splitter whose first and second optical branchings are linked to inputs of horizontal orientation channel, whose third and fourth optical branchings are connected to inputs of first vertical orientation channel, whose fifth and sixth optical branchings are connected to inputs of second vertical orientation channel. Outputs of orientation channels are connected to control inputs of motors. Outputs of pair of optical branchings of optical splitter in each orientation channel are linked to inputs of controllable optical phase modulator and of uncontrolled optical phase modulator. Outputs of both optical phase modulators are connected to inputs of optical branchings of optical splitter whose output is connected to input of photodetector which output is linked to input of first comparator and input of differentiator. Output of differentiator is connected to input of second comparator. Inputs of NOT-OR gate are linked to inverse output of second comparator and to direct output of first comparator in horizontal orientation channel and in first vertical orientation channel ( in second vertical orientation channel to inverse output of first comparator ). Output of NOT-OR gate is connected to controlling input of key whose information input is integrated with power supply input of motor, output of key is output of channel. Outputs of unit are outputs of angle-data transmitters mounted on axes of gimbal suspension. EFFECT: enhanced precision of spatial orientation of stationary objects with reference to directions of components of vector of intensity of geomagnetic field of the Earth. 2 dwg
