FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves determining relative lysophosphatidyl choline, sphingomyelin and phosphatidyl choline fractions concentration in phospholipid blood spectrum and calculating coefficient value from a formula PhCh/SM x LPhCh, where LPhCh is the relative lysophosphatidyl choline concentration, SM is the relative sphingomyelin concentration, PhCh is the relative phosphatidyl choline concentration. The coefficient value being equal to 20-35, chronic virus hepatitis including HBs carriers is to be diagnosed. The value being equal to 36-45, alcohol-induced chronic virus hepatitis is to be diagnosed. The value being equal to 50-95, hepatic cirrhosis is to be diagnosed. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of diagnosis method.
