FIELD: integrated optics. SUBSTANCE: proposed integrator can be used as one of elements of optical 3-D integrated circuit with three-dimensional optical couplings. Integrator of light beams has substrate, N optical input channels and common channel. Each input channel is made of input diffraction grating formed on surface of additional planar waveguide separated from optical bus by buffer layer and presents input element with optical decoupling. Material whose refractive index is less than values of refractive indices of materials of which optical bus and additional waveguides are manufactured is used for buffer layers. Additional planar waveguides are made of same material of which optical bus is fabricated or of material having lesser value of refractive index. EFFECT: improved compactness by transition from two-dimensional structure of integrator to three-dimensional structure, simplified technology of manufacture of integrator by replacement of channel waveguides by planar waveguides. 2 cl, 1 dwg
