FIELD: symmetrically-excited antenna-feeder devices; vertical linearly polarized antennas with circular pattern in horizontal plane. SUBSTANCE: antenna has at least two V-shaped members each being symmetrical to its axis and both having their tops facing each other. Each of conductor sections of feeder line is connected on one end to one of V-shaped members at its top. Feeder line is, essentially, coaxial line provided with feeder-line section made in the form of two tubes of diameter d arranged in parallel with clearance Δ between them; their length is λ/2, where λ - is wavelength and d < Δ < 3d. Ends of two tubes are shorted out to form coil. Hole is made in-between shorted-out ends of two tubes in the wall of one of them. End is coaxially passed through shorted point of tubes in tube space up to hole. Outer shell of coaxial line is connected to tube on hole perimeter. Central conductor of coaxial line is brought in through hole and connected to wall of other tube opposite to hole center. Tops of V-shaped members are connected to coil tubes at points of connection of coaxial line. These members are arranged in parallel planes. Axes of V-shaped members are parallel to each other and to tubes. Directivity pattern is axially symmetrical in E and H polarization planes. Main receive radiation maximums are horizontally oriented.
