FIELD: antenna engineering.

SUBSTANCE: feed-conductor is disposed within conical reflector between top of the latter and its base. One of emf generator leads is connected to feed-conductor and other one, to top of reflector or to subdish disposed in reflector base. Longitudinal gap is provided between generator leads relative to feed-conductor longitudinal axis for introducing excitation emf disposed, respectively, between reflector top and feed-conductor or between the latter and subdish. Such connection forms transverse electromagnetic wave within reflector. Electromagnetic field initiated by transverse wave forms longitudinal radio wave on inner surface of reflector which is emitted in direction of reflector aperture.

EFFECT: enhanced radiation efficiency and transmission distance due to reduced energy decay.
