FIELD: forestry. SUBSTANCE: felling machine has outriggers with poles connected by conical reducers to drive shaft. Each conical reducer has two gears, one being rigidly fixed on end of drive shaft and other being mounted on upper end of outrigger pole upper end. Outriggers are equipped with flaps and define with clamping levers branch collector. Felling machine of such construction is preferably employed on low bearing capacity grounds. EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation. 2 dwg
