FIELD: transport engineering; tractor gearboxes. SUBSTANCE: power flow in gearbox is directed along one of two branches of at least one kinematic system of output unit by means of mechanical gear shifter. Series of speeds is formed either by alternate engagement of kinematic circuits of output unit at one and the same speed of rotation of initial series or by successive engagement of all parallel kinematic circuits of one kinematic system and than all parallel kinematic circuits of other kinematic system of output unit at all speeds of rotation of countershaft.
