FIELD: liquid fuels. SUBSTANCE: invention provides novel fuels consisting of emulsions of water in hydrocarbons, for example in diesel fuels, gasolines, kerosenes, furnace oils. Emulsion also contains surfactant system including sorbitan sesquioleate, polyethylene glycol monooleate, and nonylphenol ethoxylate (weight ratio 3:2:1). Emulsion is characterized by average size of disperse phase drops less or equal to 1 mcm with standard deviation 1 mcm. EFFECT: achieved fuel emulsion stability and environmental safety. 15 cl, 6 dwg, 3 tbl
