FIELD: biotechnological methods in oil and gas production. SUBSTANCE: water-based composition consists of (i) solution of exopolysaccharide, 2-5% produced by strain Azotobacter vinelandi (Lipman) in the form of culture broth and (ii) filler. The latter, in particular, is wood flour, 2-5%, whereas exopolysaccharide is used in combination with mixture of lauric and palmitic acids, 10-15%. Composition selectively increased filtration resistance to water flow in high-permeability watered interbeds. EFFECT: increased oil recovery. 2 tbl, 2 ex
