FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: rotary piston internal combustion engine has movable sealing unit of engine housing piston part installed on end face surface of corresponding part of housing for friction braking of rotor in case of change in direction of its rotation and made in form of screw pair consisting of body-nut and compression ring-screw separated by elastic members placed between their projections. Support device has controlled synchronizing damping clutch provided with movable part-synchronizer with fitted-on bell cranks with rollers on ends one of which engages with cam mounted on rotor hub and the other, with slot of support cam rigidly coupled with output shaft to form cam selector switch between movable part of clutch and above-indicated support. Gear sectors are found on movable part of clutch. EFFECT: possibility of using low octane fuel, improved reliability and sealing, increased service life and efficiency of engine. 4 dwg
