FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: nonreturn gate is designed to shut-off return flow of working medium in pipeline. Nonreturn gate has body and turning disc arranged in it on shaft. Turning disc divides flow section of body into inlet and outlet cavities. Turning hydraulic drive and hydraulic damper are coupled to shaft kinematically. Hydraulic drive and hydraulic damper are positioned in the same cylinder. They have common stator, rotor and nonreturn valves. Rotor is fixed to turning shaft of disc and provided with at least one repair of radial blades. The latter form variable-volume cavities along with stator in common cylinder. Said cavities communicate with inlet and outlet spaces of body by means of pipelines and are coupled to each other in pairs through throttling holes made in blades. Nonreturn valves are mounted for isolation of at least one of cylinder cavities from cavities adjacent to it when it is reduced in volume as a result of disc movement for closing. Nonreturn gate with drive may be used on underground pipelines. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 3 cl, 6 dwg
