FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipeline valves and is intended for covering return flow of medium in pipeline. Butterfly valve 1 comprises a body with seat 4 and closure element 5, lever 6 coupled with hollow rotary shaft 8 and torsion bar 9. Torsion bar 9 is installed inside rotary shaft 8 coaxial therewith. One end of torsion bar 9 is connected with rotary shaft 8. Opposite end of torsion bar 9 is mounted inside freely rotating shaft 8 and driven for fixing it in body 1 is rigidly connected to a push coupling half 12 of coupling claw coupling. second coupling half 16 of coupling claw coupling loosely fitted on rotary shaft 8 and rigidly fixed in housing 1.
EFFECT: invention is intended to provide braking of valve closure member when it is landing on seat.
