FIELD: testing equipment, vibration protecting systems. SUBSTANCE: multichannel vibration protecting system made of protected object and elastically damping members attached to it is put on platforms of vibration exciters. Each elastically damping member is anchored on separate vibration exciter. Random vibration actions in range of working frequencies are formed in points of attachment. Values of inherent and mutual spectral densities of accelerations are measured in points of attachment as well as values of mutual spectral densities of reaction of system and vibration actions by which transfer characteristics of system are found. With this in mind values of mutual spectral densities of accelerations in points of attachment of elastically damping members and protected object and of accelerations in points of attachment of elastically damping members to platforms of vibration exciters are measured. Values of complex transfer functions of elastically damping members as well as values of complex transfer functions of members of structure of protected object located among points of their attachment to elastically damping members are determined by measured values of inherent and mutual spectral densities of accelerations.
