Device for radio transmitter backup has two exciters, two power amplifiers, antenna. antenna switch, ballast load, control unit, power supply units of exciters, power amplifiers with switches, analyzers of state of exciters and amplifiers. , pickups controlling current of exciters and amplifiers, splitter of information signal, delay line of information signal, switches of delay of information signal. In case of failure of key transmission path control unit disconnects it from antenna, turns off supply of exciter and power amplifier of major transmission path, connects antenna to backup path, switches on supply of exciter and power amplifier of backup path, feeds information signal through delay line placed across of backup radio path. Thanks to insertion of additional units and new couplings, switching over of radio paths backup is carried out without information loss with raised reliability of device and reduced energy losses.
