ROLL-TYPE SMOOTHING MACHINE WITH SMOOTHING DEVICE VIBRATING IN TRANSVERSE DIRECTION Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: construction materials. SUBSTANCE: smoothing device has rolls rotating at speed many times exceeding speed of displacement of smoothing device over surface to be smoothed, and simultaneously vibrating in direction transverse to direction of advancement of rolls. Smoothing rolls surface contacting with surface to be smoothed is made notched. Smoothing device transverse vibration motion is imparted by drive actuated by hydraulic pumping station provided with hydraulic variable-feed pump, bypass valve and filter. Pumping station actuates vibration generator, which has hydraulic engine, eccentric conical shaft, and screw providing lowering and raising of eccentric conical shaft for changing plunger pair vibration amplitude. Working fluid which is under pressure in rubber-metal sleeve imparts vibratory motions to plunger pair rigidly connected to rotating roll. Roll is rotated by belt transmission from electric engine. Smoothing machine of such construction is used for high-quality working of unhardened concrete surfaces of ferroconcrete products molded from rigid concrete mixtures to obtain required roughness grade on ferroconcrete product faces.
