FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: proposed railway vehicle bogie has frame, wheelsets with axle boxes, springs of spring suspension through which bogie frame rests on axle boxes, radius rods connecting wheelset axle boxes with frame. Axle boxes of each wheelset are connected by brackets with frame through frame brackets by means of two coaxial radius rods or one radius rod. Radius rods of extreme wheelsets are arranged lower than or higher than level of axle of corresponding wheelset with displacement of radius rods in height relative to wheelset axles equal to H = (0,5•X•Cp•L2/Pp/n)0,5 where X is designed longitudinal displacement of axle box in curve; Cp - is longitudinal rigidity of axle box spring; L is distance between axle box springs; Pp is tolerable additional effort in radius rod; n is number of radius rods per axle box. EFFECT: reduced wear of wheel flanges, increased periods between turnings of wheel flanges, service life of wheelset and distance run between overhauls, reduced fuel consumption. 1 dwg
