FIELD: organic chemistry, agriculture. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to novel 3-N-aryl- -amino-4-amino-(4-nitrophenyl)-butanoic acid N-arylamides showing ability to activate the germination of wheat seeds of the formula (I) where Ar is C6H5 (1); -CH2-C6H5 (2). Invention relates to also method of synthesis of indicated compounds (I) that involves interaction of aniline used both as reagent and solvent with 1-(4-nitrophenyl)-5H-pyrroline-2-one in the mole ratio (1) : amine = 1:50 at 50 C and indicated compounds (2) by interaction of benzylamine used both as reagent and solvent with 1-(4-nitrophenyl)-5H-pyrroline-2-one in the ratio (2) : amine = 1:48 at 50 C. Invention can be used in agriculture for preparing new activators of germination of wheat seeds. EFFECT: new compounds indicated above, improved method of synthesis. 2 cl, 3 tbl, 5 ex
