SUBSTANCE: method involves forming material T for tip pocket by means of needles 1 positioned in first semicircle A; transferring leading free edge T1 of pocket T onto additional arc needles; forming circular portion of material by providing air suction zone by means of branch pipe 22 extending along inner edge of needle cylinder for gripping mentioned edge of pocket during transfer of leading edge; providing centrifugal motion of plates equipped with pins; gradually moving free edge T1 outside beyond circle defined by needles; lifting needles so that they penetrate through material T along leading edge T1.
