FIELD: packages. SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to gable-top containers, method of opening of such containers, blank for making the containers and tear-off lip. Tear-off lip is secured on tent-type side wall and/or edge of assembled container. Separating force can be applied by means of this lip across line of sealed container ridge seam. It takes place on section of line ridge seam located between apexes of Y-shaped fold of sealed container gable top, with resulting separation of this section of ridge seam and further separation along length of line ridge seam. It makes one of tent-like side walls of sealed container move across line ridge seam forming pour-out spout. EFFECT: facilitated opening of gable-top container. 17 cl, 16 dwg
