METHOD OF MANUFACTURING CEMENT CLINKER FOR SPECIFIED TYPE OF CEMENT Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: method includes selection and preparation of blend from carbonate, clayey, and ferriferous components, determining their chemical composition and physico- mechanical characteristics, exergic characteristics of components and prepared blend, and also degree of thermal dissociation of blend components, after which blend is ground and fired to give cement clinker. Distinguishing feature of method resides in specifying variation ranges of module characteristics of blend, mineralogical composition ranges for prepared clinker corresponding to specified type of cement, and also ranges for difference between (i) ratio of degrees of thermal dissociation of carbonate and clayey components and (ii) ratio of energies of consumption streams of these components; composing blend varieties from initial components taking into account their variation range step; and additionally determining energy of manufactured clinker, after which integrated criterion of efficiency of each blend is found from formula. Thus obtained data enable selecting blend with lowest value of the above-named criterion corresponding to optimal blend composition to manufacture clinker for specified type of cement.
