FIELD: radio engineering, determination of angular coordinates of source of uninterrupted harmonic signal. SUBSTANCE: proposed phase radio direction finder makes it possible to conduct unambiguous measurements in sector of angles from - to while antennas of direction finder are spaced apart by distance considerably exceeding working length of wave without loss of sensitivity of direction finder. In this case possibility of generation of considerable errors under effect of low noise as well as systematic error caused by drift of characteristics of phase detectors are excluded. Given phase radio direction finder has antenna receiving channels, demodulator, logic processing unit to compute angle of arrival of electromagnetic wave which employs not length of bases but difference of their lengths. With this in mind fourth antenna receiving channel is inserted. Demodulator includes three high-frequency adders, three high-frequency subtracters, six amplitude detectors and logic processing unit incorporates subunits forming sine and cosine discrimination characteristics.
