FIELD: manufacture of decorative-facing materials based on colored glass granulate and refractory filler, material is intended for civil and industrial engineering, furniture industry and manufacture of durable artistic wall panels. SUBSTANCE: decorative facing material based on colored glass granulate and refractory filler is prepared using powder technology by sintering and subsequently crystallization and annealing in the form of plates having actively rough internal surface. Material has face surface of plates made rough with micro roughness ranging fro 27 to 1560 mcm, said surface resulting directly from thermal treatment. Face layer of material comprises 15-1000 wt % of refractory filler and has thickness varying from 1 to 20 mm, face surface of the same plate has areas with different degree of roughness.
