FIELD: manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: apparatus consists of flat refractory tray and, installed on it, one-piece stopping member with detachable inserts peripherally disposed therein. The latter are made from refractory heat-insulation material and have height 2.0- 2.5-fold greater than thickness of glass tile obtained. Between stopping member and detachable inserts, there is gap constituting 0.02-0.03 corresponding dimension of glass tile. EFFECT: increased rate of yield of valid products. 3 cl, 1 dwg
