FIELD: transport mechanical engineering; mechanisms of drives of transport facility drive wheels. SUBSTANCE: proposed device has reversible pump whose suction and discharge chambers are connected with controllable throttle valve by means of hydraulic lines through check valves; they are also connected with additional valve controlled by control column which is also connected with controllable throttle valve. Device is also provided with logic hydraulic OR gate, pressure ratio hydraulic gate and disk-type locking mechanism including support secured in axle beam. Cylinder is mounted in grooves of support. Piston is arranged in hole of cylinder. Piston is brought in contact with locking block provided with friction lining which is fitted on guide pins of support by its holes. Disk-type locking mechanism has cast-iron disk fitted in splines of left-hand half-axle and friction lining secured to differential gear body. Reversible pump may be made in form of guide-vane pump. Its stator may be secured in differential gear body and rotor may be rigidly connected with right-hand half-axle gear. EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability of device due to change in differential gear coefficient depending on road conditions; enhanced efficiency due to reduced losses in drive of drive wheel because of simplified construction of device. 2 cl, 2 dwg
