FIELD: animal farming. SUBSTANCE: dosing feeder has carrier frame reciprocating on rollers of horizontal roller path along feeder common for all animals. At least one dozer for supplying feed portions onto feeder portions is defined by rollers. Frame is supported by at least three rollers. Dosing feeder may be equipped with members defining feeder portions on its bottom, and rollers are positioned on feeder above these members. Feeder of such construction is used at animals farms for tether keeping of cows and is adapted for supplying feed to single animals or to group of animals. EFFECT: simplified construction, reduced metal usage, decreased power consumption and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 cl, 3 dwg
