FIELD: protection of objects from rodents. SUBSTANCE: method involves periodically generating electric signal while modulating its frequency during each cycle; amplifying signal intensity and converting it into supersonic field. Electric signal is generated within radiation band of up to 80 kHz at repeating cycle of 20-30 ms and simultaneously acoustic signal is applied on modulated electric signal with subsequent pause of value equal to emitted signal time. Method is employed for protecting objects from adverse actions of rodents by repelling effect of supersonic field, and is characterized in that rodents are not apt to adapt emitted signal, and may be used in stores, grain storages, food-processing plants, shops, cable units, telephone and other communications. EFFECT: increased efficiency and wider range of usages. 1 dwg
