SUBSTANCE: method involves generating repellent acoustic pulsed signals with steep front and rear fronts in two frequency bands, with one of frequency bands corresponding to that of animal acoustic communication and other - to that of acute hearing. Quickly growing power maximum value at initial phase of acoustic signal, contrasting change in dynamic value of acoustic signal, high intensity and abrupt ceasing of sound impart discomfort to animal and insect hearing system. Apparatus has generators connected via commutator to mixer. Signal is delivered from mixer output and amplified.
