FIELD: transport engineering; electrical equipment of vehicles. SUBSTANCE: proposed system has storage battery one pole of which is connected with vehicle body, and lighting device. Contacts of door switch are placed in circuit connecting lighting device with body. Control unit is built around microcomputer and is provided with input for connection with door switch contact. Design peculiarities of the system are electronic switch introduced into control unit and additional output of microcomputer which is made for control of voltage level. Power outputs of electronic switch are connected in parallel with door switch contacts, and control output is connected to additional output of microcomputer. Such design of system provides holding of lighting device in ON state after return of door switch contacts in initial position. Further on, when door is closed, microcomputer can change illumination of vehicle interior according to preset program. EFFECT: improved safety of vehicle in dark hours, reduced time taken for disconnection of alarm by car owner. 1 dwg
