FIELD: powder metallurgy, more particularly manufacture of self-lubricating plain bearings in friction units of textile machines, devices of radio-engineering and electronic industries operating within wide ranges of specific pressures and sliding rates of conjugated surfaces. SUBSTANCE: corrosion-resistant antifriction powder iron-based material comprises, wt %: graphite, 0.6-1.0; silicon, 0.7-0.9; manganese, 0.5-0.7; chromium 5.0-7.0; copper, 4.0-4.8; zinc, 1.0-1.2; molybdenum disulfide, 2.0-4.0; tin, 0.5-0.7; and iron, the balance, copper and zinc being added to blend composition in the form of powder I amount of 5-6%. Component are manufactured by method of powder metallurgy. EFFECT: improved antifriction and physico-mechanical properties of the material. 1 tbl
