FIELD: drilling of boreholes. SUBSTANCE: invention is intended to supply power to autonomous down-hole navigation and geophysical devices in process of drilling. Turbo-generator has leak-proof stator put on immobile hollow shaft, rotor supported in bearings anchored on immobile hollow shaft and protected by sealing units. Rotor comes in the form of external frame, on edges of its outer side turbine blades are mounted and permanent magnets are installed on inner side. Electric connectors are positioned on both sides of shaft. One of sealing units is fitted with spring and is mounted for axial movement. It provides for compensation of pressure and thermal expansion of lubricating liquid present in bearing units and in gap between rotor and stator. Leak-proof stator comes in the form of monolith made of nonconducting and nonmagnetic material, for instance, glass reinforced plastic. EFFECT: prolonged service life and enhanced functional reliability of turbo-generator, increased power of it with simultaneous reduction of mass and overall dimensions. 1 cl, 1 dwg
