FIELD: protection of gas turbine plants (two-shaft plants, tree-shafts plants) against damage and failure in case of dangerous deviations of parameters in transient modes. SUBSTANCE: method includes reduction of fuel consumption to keep exhaust gas temperature below maximum permissible magnitude, thus excluding damage to blading of first stage of turbine. Quick change in temperature at combustion chamber outlet may be estimated for correction of temperature measured by thermocouples. Turbine is provided with pressure transducer at inlet and temperature transducer at outlet for bringing measured temperature closer to actual magnitude. Proposed method ensures quick determination of temperature at combustion chamber outlet and reduction of fuel consumption if temperature thus determined is close to maximum permissible level. Units for measuring exhaust gas temperature (EGT) with the aid of thermocouples are used together with units for measuring the compressor delivery pressure (CDP) before combustion chamber. When use is made of first-order member and static gain factor, measured CDP is used for prediction of correction of signal by EGT, thus resulting in corrected magnitude of EGT. As soon as corrected EGT has been calculated, its first time derivative is used for correction of amount of safety zone between maximum permissible magnitude of temperature and lower setting of temperature limitation with correction calculated beforehand taken into account. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of gas-turbine plant. 12 cl, 2 dwg
