FIELD: determination of content of oxygen in exhaust gases of internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: sensor has sensitive element hermetically secured in metal housing and provided with sealing flange located of housing; sealing flange is supported by sealing surface formed on exhaust pipe line of waste gas exhaust system. Union nut is movably fitted on housing; union nut is driven in thread of tapped hole provided on exhaust pipe line; it presses sealing flange to sealing surface. Housing has separate part located on gas analytical side of sensor and separate part located on side of contact leads of sensor; sealing flange is provided on that part of housing which is located on side of contact leads of sensor and is formed from this part of housing. EFFECT: avoidance of loss of tightness of housing in the course of reduction of material of housing. 4 cl, 1 dwg
