FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: shutoff member is spring-loaded relative to seat and is provided with sealed bead and guide collar in through channel. Sealing conical surface engages with seat when valve is closed. Spring is installed in space opposite to working chamber of fuel injection pump. Recess made on bead forms, together with wall of through channel, a through section. Bead has suction and adjusting sections. Recess is arranged on adjusting section. Made at place of intersection of seat surface and channel surface is outlet edge forming a connecting section together with recess. Area of connecting section is either less than or is equal to area of through section. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 7 cl, 8 dwg
