FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: lifting apparatus has basket, two pairs of carrier wheels, reversible transmission, gripping device, pair of steel cables, pulleys, winch with drum and drive. Gripping device is formed as loop arranged on each cable and adapted to be tightened. Before lifting process, cable with left-hand coil is wound onto drum and cable with right-hand coil is in unwound state. Drum driving is performed through worm and chain transmissions by means of three foot pedals arranged circumferentially through 120 deg. EFFECT: simplified lifting and lowering along shaft, improved safety and reduced damage to shaft surface. 7 dwg
