FIELD: machine engineering, namely manual electric hammers and perforators used in building, geological exploration and explosion works at drilling. SUBSTANCE: compression vacuum machine includes housing, drive unit with motor. Machine also includes reduction gear and conversion mechanism, percussion mechanism having guiding cylinder, sleeve type piston arranged in guiding cylinder and joined with conversion mechanism by means of hinge. Inside piston striker is arranged for periodically striking working tool, striker is joined with piston by means of air cushion. Guiding cylinder has inner turning limited by upper and lower edges and having radial opening in its wall. There is flat on outer surface of piston. In wall of piston in zone of flat there is compensation hole that periodically synchronously with piston motion connects air cushion with atmosphere through duct formed by flat and inner surface of guiding cylinder, turning and radial opening. Flat is closed along piston length, it has upper and lower edges. Spacing L from lower edge of flat until upper edge on inner turning of guiding cylinder (when piston is in lower dead point) is in range R <L <2R, where R - half of full stroke of piston from lower dead point until upper dead point.
